Description: We are seeking a Service Technician to repair and install various types of equipment, including recycling bailers, cardboard bailers, dock lifts, trash compactors and shredders. The Service Technician will work out of his/her home and travel to client locations in the Albany, Catskills and Amsterdam areas of New York State to maintain equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, estimate repair costs and obtain repair authorizations, finalize repair orders and pricing, and monitor maintenance/repair supplies and ordering. Candidates for this position must have a HS diploma or GED and 2-4 years of demonstrated electrical, mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills, in addition to on-the-road equipment repair experience.
